Saturday’s Market – Middletown, PA | Yokography

I’ve been wanting to check out Saturday’s Market in Middletown for quite sometime ever since my return to Harrisburg. Finally, my opportunity was here this past weekend!

Only one regret on the day was that we didn’t leave home early enough.

When we arrived there, it was a little after 12 p.m. We went straight to looking for something to eat. There were various vendors that offering sandwiches, hamburgers, Puerto Rican dishes, Korean, fried chicken and the list goes on. We saw a few sit-down type places inside of the market too. I was thinking something American, then of course ended up having Korean food. Argh, I can never pass on rice dishes.

After satisfying our empty stomachs we finally decided to hit the vendors!

Saturday’s Market is known for being Pennsylvania’s Largest Indoor-Outdoor Farmers and Flea Market. Honestly, it was a big place. I didn’t know what to expect when we were turning into the parking lot. On Saturday, they have both indoor and outdoor vendors. They sell locally grown produce, handmade furniture and much more. I love going to a flea market because you never know what you find on the spot.

I thought the street signs indicating which vendors were where made this place a bit unique. You don’t really see them at any type of stores. I guess that makes it clear that this place is huge too.

Because of arriving there kind of late, a lot of vendors started closing their shops right around when we finished eating. I recommend anyone to get there early if you plan on visiting this place.

It was also a day to try out my new lens. My cat didn’t want to pose for me :(
